the photos that were moved from Iphoto in oct seem to have lost their visible captions unless in edit mode.

Wondering could I uninstall photos & then when I reinstalled from mac website would it automatically transfer all that I have taken since oct as well? also I see how to edit pictures in photos but I didn't see how to label captions on pictures. Now I want to get all my iPhotos into photos & will use that from now on. Right-Click and select Show Package Contents. Frustrated with learning new system & didn't read anything about it - just kept moving things from camera to iPhoto which was more difficult to do but I was familiar with how it worked. Does Mac OS Mojave 10.14.3 support iPhoto 9.6.1 Will the upgrade to Mojave install the iPhoto app My current computer is: MacBook Pro 13in, 2016, 4 Thunderbolt ports, 3.3GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3. I have Imac 2008, OSX El Capitan 10.11.3, I photo 9.6.1, photos 1.3 added by an update 10/8/15. I am using iPhoto and I prefer it over Photos.
